The Cheltenham Township Police Department has a long and storied history of service stretching back to its creation in 1903. As one of the pillars of the community, the Department helps keep Cheltenham and its residents safe.

The Cheltenham Police Pension Fund was founded in 1934. Our mission is to help recruit the best and brightest to our township police force. Originally founded to provide sole pension benefits to retiring officers, the Fund now helps pay a supplemental benefit to our officers and their surviving spouses.
